The memorial bears the names of 1,774 victims and was unveiled on 3 November 2019. When work began, a forest stood over the mass grave and nothing pointed to the tragedy. Experts from the Rabbinical Commission for Cemeteries located the site; around 120 people shot in 1942 lie here. A path leads from the memorial to the mass graves.
